Consumer Confidence Edges Up

The U of Mich/Reuter’s confidence poll I frequently link to show consumers are slightly less grim. This certainly is positive news for our economy given that it did not decline further. Quote from the article:

“The Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers said its preliminary index reading of confidence for March edged up to 56.6 from 56.3 in February. That beat economists’ expectations for a fall to 55.0″
